:confused:I figured out that i needed a new ECU for my 98 eclipse that had a stock 2.4l non turbo engine that got swapped with a 2.0L Turbo engine so i put a new 95 eprom ECU not socketed. The car ran before i put in the New ECU, now it will crank and seem like it wants to start, almost starts sometimes but does not. i plugged back in the old ECU and tried to start it and no luck. Throughout all this changing of ECU's i did remember to unplug the battery before swapping the ECU's in and out so as not to blow up anything.:thumb:
If anyone has any thoughts of what could be wrong it would be most appreciated.

After i changed my ecu to an eprom i had to change the wires around to another firing order. I'm not sure what the swap is but there are a few forums on here about that. Not 100% sure this will help in this situation but hey it worked for me.

Thank you for the advice everyone. It worked perfectly swapped the plug wires using the diagram from the link one of you posted and the car fired right up after that. =)
