Ok, yesterday, I was ready to pull the engine. All I had left was to remove the clutch from the flexplate. So, I try to take out the bolts holding the flexplate and clutch together, but as I turn the wrench, so does the flexplate. How do I keep it from spining?

Not in our case... 420As don't have conventional flywheels because the clutches are modular. The mating surfaces of the clutch are completely concealed. The "flexplate," which the clutch bolts to, is used only for securing the clutch assembly to the crank, and to engage the starter.

By the way, a crowbar jammed between the flexplate and the bellhousing (through the starter hole) does a great job at keeping the rotating assembly stationary. As stated, you'll need a buddy to help...
