removing exhaust manifold

i'm having trouble getting the far upper right bolt out because of its distance to the belts and the small engine mount that sits beside it.


anyone have any tips on how they get there's out? i have the socket for the 02 sensor but it still won't come out easily. Considering i can't start the car (complete overhaul with upgrades and mods) i was wondering what other people used to get those two PITA out?

use a 12mm socket with a wobbly end and a regular rachet. worked fine for me a couple days ago.

i'll try that. that last bolt is in the worst spot.

If i'm thinking of the same thing you are, then you have to take off your powersteering pump and bracket. Not very many bolts and its fast.

bobblehead + 12mm on the end got mine out, should do yours too

take that stupid sheild off for the power steering pump too..it doesnt need to be there and makes the nut a lot more accessible.
