Removing clutch switch really help?

The plug is the further one up. There is another white plug but that one connects to the cruise control switch.

Unplugging it doesn't directly help with preventing crank walk, it lets you start the car without pressing in the clutch. That is a good thing since when you let the car sit oil can seep out of the bearings and pressing the clutch in on dry/ied bearings can cause damage.

Just make sure you always check that you are in neutral before you start the car.

What is the switch just below it going into the black housing and attached to a metal bracket with a black push switch that is pushed in when the clutch isn't depressed?

Was pulling on this thing for a second before my head started working and got the right plug.

Read that this can prevent crankwalk somewhat, curious if that is true. Also its the white plug with the green/black wire right?

I personally think it's one of the main things to help prevent CW. Figure it out, dry bearing, heavy pressure. Read the article in the Magnus Motorsports web site. Lots of good info.
