removing balance shafts cause engine knock?

hey, my friend has a 1g talon that he removed his balance shafts abut a week prior to the engine knocking...also he put in a 20g couple of days prior to the noise.... Any relation?

My engine didn't knock when I took out the balance shafts, and I don't know of anyone else's who has. Are you sure it's not lifter tick?

assuming it was done correctly the two aren't related.

but if the bearing got left installed normally or something then it could certainly be related

Take the car to AMS or Devotuning. Quit trying to fix stuff yourself if you don't know what you are doing.
