My rear passenger half shaft boot is ripped and I need to replace it. I looked and saw that shaft bolts to the hub with 4 bolts. I was just wondering if I unbolt it from the hub and release it from the rear diff will it come out ? or is it pressed in there as well ?

Also where is the best place to find a rear passenger axle for a good price. Thanks

Yes, the axle comes out that easy. The only trick is that the axle is held into the diff with a clip, just like the front axles, so you have to use a prybar or big screwdriver to pop it out of the diff.

I've had luck finding rear axles at MitsubishiGraveyard.com and
MSRecycling.com
New boots should be available from your local auto parts store.
