Getting ready to replace the timing components on my 95 Talon and was wondering if its necessary to remove the crank sprocket in order to get the balance shaft belt on?

I'm used to doing 1G's and this is my first 2G with the crank sensor trigger plate. It looks tight, but maybe its possible to remove just the crank sensor and feed the belt over the plate?

Thanks

If you're that far into your motor to replace the timing components, why dont you just do a balance shaft delete? eliminate that belt altogether. I had that belt break on me one time... it took out my crank trigger sensor and screwed up my whole motor

The way I did it I slowly moved the crank and wiggle it in be very carefully if u go this route you don't want to bend valves

I kind of do it like gst-turbo without turning the crank. Done several & never really had any problems. I do remove the balance shaft tension pulley for more wiggle room then slip it in while wiggling. Never have I needed to remove the crank pulley for the timing belt.
