Can someone tell me where this goes? It has a banjo bolt on it. Not sure if it's for the turbo or what.
Can someone please tell me where I can get a nut like this one for the driver side, I lost it. It's the one above what i think you call the lower ball joint (I could be wrong on that). The pic was taken from the front of the car looking towards the center of the passenger side wheel. You can see my destroyed cv axle there:
I broke a nipple off the egr solenoid:
So I've decided to clean up the engine bay and delete some emissions stuff. I've read these threads:
http://www.dsmtuners.com/forums/art...-speed-shop-vacuum-diagram-removal-1g-2g.html
http://www.dsmtuners.com/forums/bolt-tech/403625-correct-vacuum-lines-after-changing-headgasket.html
http://www.dsmtuners.com/forums/app...6795-blocking-off-emissions-vacuum-lines.html
and I think I'm ready for this, but I guess I'm a little worried about not knowing exactly which port on the intake manifold goes to where.
Can someone please show me a picture of what the purge control valve looks like?
Should I keep my fuel pressure solenoid hooked up? I don't have an aftermarket afpr yet, or dsmlink. I'll be keeping all the sensors plugged into the solenoids so I don't have a check engine light.
This might be a stupid question: I just now ordered an egr blockoff plate so I don't know if it will get here this weekend. Will i be able to get rid of the charcoal canister without it? I hope the blockoff plate & gasket gets here on time.
I'm so nervous about starting the car for the first time this weekend!! Please pray that everything goes well for me guys!!
Thanks in advance for the help! I'll try to think of anything else that I need to know before startup this weekend.
Here's some pics of the car as of right now:
Here's the motor before going in the car! (Fram filter was just for protection, WIX is going on soon. Also ignore my mangled exhaust mani wrap job
