my clutch is just about to die out on me so i need to replace it. i have an intake exhaust and i plan on upgrading to evoIII 16g turbo. this car is more of a weekend warrior than a dd. what is a good clutch and flywheel thats not too stiff. for a shortshifter i heard that b&m with symborski bushings are good, correct?

Im running the act2600 pressure plate, with street disc and 9lbs fidanza flywheel
and so far so good. The flywheel makes it rev quicker especially in the lower gears
and the 2600 took a little getting used to since its a lot stiffer and your more prone to
chirp the tires if you throttle it on acceleration.

I have an act 2100 and I love it. Being front wheel drive and all, I think some of the suggested clutches are overkill. When launching our fwd cars, the tires break loose, not our clutches. We dont need a clutch that can launch awd's daily. I use a megan racing short shifter, and stock flywheel. I plan on upgrading to a fidanza in the next few weeks. Just my .02

Selmerguy, I am looking in to buying a XTD stage 4 with the 6 puck like you have, due to its cheap price and ability to hold 500 hp. Want to know what you think of it. Pros, cons thanks

Still breaking mine in right now. It feels good and it drivers better than I expected for as stout as it claims to be. No problems with it so far. It looks just like tghe fidenza clutch kit. I would not use the XTD flywheel but the clutch seems to be a good alternitive for the average joe that wants more for less.
