So, i ran 13.97 @ 101.9, and blew oil out the breather like crazy, checked #4 compression when i got home, and read 60 psi. So that cylinder is dead. Gonna do a rebuild.

There are lots of options for parts. I'm looking at a kit online:

Does anyone have experience with Nippon Rings? How about chrome rings from autozone/advance?

Anyone have advice about rebuilds and parts?

have you torn the car apart yet to see exactly what your problem is? it could be more than just rings...ive just picked up a 95gst and a 1g 6-bolt...i will be picking up most of my rebuild parts at jacksonautomachine.com check them out...
