Rebuild thats sat for over a year

Long story short,
motor blew, rebuilt, person handling it left town unexpectedly. and now i saved the car from the crusher, its been sitting for 12-18 months maybe 2 years.

Im in the process of trying to get everything back up and running.
what do i need to check just to make sure i dont screw anything up.

Ive tried cranking it, and logged it via dsmlink. It looks like im not getting an RPM signal.

What else do i need/ should i check before i try starting it again?

Make sure things are plugged in properly and not loose. And I would prime the motor till the oil light goes out. Disconnect the mpi fuse and Crank it till light goes out. This way you know you have good oil pressure throughout the motor and turbo. Other than that check your fluids and make sure you have a good battery and connections. Also not a bad idea to do a boost leak test before you run it. Since it's a fresh rebuild and you never know Also might want to take the wastgate arm off and make sure the flapper moves free and isn't stuck.
