If i were to order a new rebuild would going with the .020 be the best. Is the over sized .55mm. Now if i go with that should i go standard Bearings or go over sized as well? I am asking this because i am looking into trying to get one in the future. That way i would have a motor with 0 miles because the head is already rebuilt. Now with that rebuild it comes with EVERYTHING and i have a honer here. So what else should i look into. The transmission was rebuilt about a year ago 2 months before it sat, so with some easy driving itll get back to its new self. So another words i have a new car with a rebuild. The turbo is still under 200 miles. I was looking for more suggestions and info pages as well.

If your engine already isn't bored .020 over, then the pistons wouldn't fit cause they are too big. but if you want to make it brand new like then its recommended that you bore it .020 over and then hone. This ensures near perfect compression.Getting oversize bearings is only required if you have your crank ground down from too many grooves on it. if its a stock crank and it looks like it only needs to be polished then you don't need oversize bearings, both for crank and connecting rods.

Best advice, find a good machine shop and let them figure out what you need. You really can't buy bearings ahead of time until all of the machine work is done and you find the exact tolerances needed. If everything is brand new, then you would most likely use standard size bearings, but I would still wait for the machine shop to tell you.

I'm not even sure what youre asking... Are you buying a new motor or are you rebuilding yours? You keep saying "order" like you're buying it from somewhere. If you have a stock block and you want to rebuild it then you should bore it out .020" and hone it. Buy new .020" over pistons, new rods, check crank for wear and fix or repalce is its not within spec. Then you need all new components for the front case and timing stuff. You'll probably want to get a B/S removal kit too.

As far as bearings go, liquidx is right. You have to see what your clearence is once the machine work is done. Not for the beginner. Sometimes you need only 1 or 2 oversized bearings and the rest standard. It all depends on the clearence of each journal. Take it to a machine shop and have them figure out what size bearings you need, check your crank, do the bore and hone, check if your crank journals need to be line honed, mill the deck, etc.

You may also want to look into stroker set ups if you're already doing the whole block. I'm not sure what your goals are though.
