http://www.installdr.com/Harnesses/Mitsubishi-Wiring.pdf I used this diagram to install rear 6x9 speakers on our Talon (and person who wired the deck last mixed up the ignition 12v and the constant 12v so our clock settings never stayed, but now they do!). Anyhow, I haven't put the panels back on, because the speakers beep after I turn off the ignition! Not the fronts, just the rears - and it does it when I tried plugging in the old stock speakers too (they were not hooked up at the stereo before). It is about 5 seconds after I turn off the ignition, I get a series of 3 pairs of beeps (6 beeps total). I checked the stereo settings, and it did have an alarm setting I think, but it is ''off''. Is this the stereo or the car making them beep??? I am totally confused! I've hooked up my fair share of stereo's/speakers over the years and never have I had one beep at me!
! Stereo is Sony Xplod CDX-GT510, 6x9's are also Sony Xplod.
Also, I found some little eclipse speakers (tweeters?) for the dash - can I hook those straight up to the front speaker wires? (our car didn't come stock with them).
