i just bought and installed a hks ssqv bov and now my car usually turns off when i am stopping. what could be causing this? also i dont have a bov recirculating into the intake like the stock bov did but i capped off the hole on the intake.

stalls when letting off the gas coming to a stop? It's because you are no longer recirculating. the MAS accounts for the air that would normally be recirculated, and when it isn't there it will tend to bog/stall.

That could be a major part of your problem. Buy the recirculation kit and hook it up. How could you have missed the million and a half threads on this topic?

Have you performed a boost leak test lately?
