Okay so heres my problem. I am working on getting my motor back in. I have prothane motor mounts. I have the front, driver's side, and tranny mounts in and bolted down. The rear one seems to be in place, but the bolt is only going half way through. I've tried jacking the motor up, hitting the mount with a hammer to get it in place, and using a pry bar. None of these things are working. If anyone has any other ideas on how to get this damn thing to lined up please let me know. Thanks in advance!

No its in the right way. It really looks like its lined up correctly. I just cannot figure out how the bolt will go through the one side of the mount, but not the other.

Yeah, I remember having a really tough time with my rear motor mount, it took me forever to get it. Try leaving the other mounts loose so there is some amount of play. The only other thing I can suggest is take them off and start with the rear first. AND KEEP TRYING! :thumb:

Also, I think I unbolted my rear mount from the engine, bolted the mount to the car and then bolted it back up to the engine...

Yeah letting the other mounts loose was my next step. the back one was just so close i was just looking for maybe a little trick that other people used to get it in that i could try before removing all the mounts and starting over. Thanks for the quick replies

Start a bolt in from the other side. This will line up the other side of the mount. Then you should be able to tap on the bolt from one side and push the other one out.

i tried to starting a bolt on the other side, there really isn't enough room to get anything in there to help push it through since i would be starting it from the passengers side.
