rear jacking of car

Is this the correct place to put a jack to jack the car up ?

thats the rear diff right ? you just use that ? i just want to make sure i dont damage anything

Yeah I'm pretty sure that's the rear diff. Shouldn't hurt anything I wouldn't think. And it's the only jacking point I know of in the back anyway.

i use the rear diff but i put a block of wood under the diff to disperse weigh lenth wise, front and back

Where is the rear jacking point of a FWD vehicle. My chilton's was pretty vague about it - it's all like, "at the jacking point behind the floor pan"
