I like how the F1 style rear fog lamps look but I cant see how it can be incorporated to the stock 98 gst rear bumper. I started thinking if im going that route i might as well combine the rear fog lamp with a rear diffuser to complete the look/functionality.

This is the rear diffuser that came up on my search 95-99 Mitsubishi Eclipse 2dr GT300 Fiberglass FRP Rear Diffuser OctaneMotorSports.com

the rear bumper would have to be modified to fit the diffuser along with the rear fog lamp

what do you guys think? should I go with the diffuser as shown or have one custom made?

GixxerDrew did a rear diffuser back in his slatflat days...look in his gallery. Its possible!

I have a led fog lamp in my bumper, its round but the company makes square aswell. Led would be better for you and would be brighter and still legal and you could link it to a relay for a flashing effect in heavy rain like the F1 cars.

Rather then moulding it into the diffused it would be better to insert it to the bumper then add the diffused under that.

I was thinking about the rear fog light too. I saw a 370z at night with it on this summer and it looked really good. I was thinking it would look good on our cars right below license plate or at the very bottom between the two indented parts.

Hey do u have any pics of your rear fog on the car is love to see how it looks

Rear For..any one ever done it ? I'd like to see some pics

Thinking about putting one on my gsx

Going to put one on my 2G. I know exactly how I'm going to wire it, I'm only having trouble choosing where to put it.

I thought of three locations:

- Right in the middle at the very bottom of the bumper.
- On the right side of the center tail light piece.
- Just to the right of the license plate.

I'm also not sure which shape to go with, I would hate to cut a hole in my bumper only to realize it doesn't look right.
