Rear differential. HELP PLEASE!!!

I need to change the ring and pinion in my differential. What I am wondering is if there is a crush collar on the pinion and if it has to be replaced. Any information is much appreciated!! Thank you.

Yes it has to be replaced, its a pre set torque kinda, when you tighten the nut and it crushes, then you tighten it a little more till its tight

Can you only get it from the dealership?
