Well, the time has come for new rear calipers. Both of mine are frozen and are dragging slightly. I have been searching for the last hr. or so and have not found what I'm looking for.

The car makes north of 600, and more boost to come. So at this point, I'm not looking to skimp on this. I will be doing the Cobra front brakes shortly as well. For now I'm just looking for rear info. Is there any caliper/bracket set available for just the rear of a 1g awd? I will most likely be ordering powerslot rotors and decent pads, but since I need calipers anyways I was hoping for a better alternative then a stock caliper.

I could have sworn I found a post somewhere to a link with slightly bigger stock replacement rotors, but cannot for the life of me find it again... Any and all help is greatly appreciated everyone!

Im not 100% positive but I did read somewhere on here that the 1G and 2G rear calipers are the same. Now if that is so the EVO 8,9 or 10 Rear Brembo will bolt up. Only problem would be parking break will be inop as they use shoe's

The parking brake is no big deal to me as the car is an auto. Also noted that I can't run smaller then 17" wheels w/ the Cobra fronts... So that is also no big deal as I run 17x8 K1's.

And from what I have been able to muster up, the EVO swap isn't a "bolt on". As stated I've now been searching multiple forums for a few hrs and am still at somewhat of a standstill.

I built PBR/ 96 Corvette rear caliper and rotors. The rotor is 12x3/4 rotor. The caliper is the same manufacture as the one on the Cobra. The rear caliper has a hand brake. I sent instruction to Jay Racing, so if he sees some interest he may have them for sale. You can see some photos in my gallery
