anyone familiar with rebuilding the rear brakes able to help putting the c-clip back in? I've been using the rear brake rebuild article that Calan wrote
www.dsmtuners.com/forums/articles-suspension-brakes/362859-how-rebuild-rear-brake-calipers.html
and this is where I'm stuck. supposedly there is a groove for the clip to drop into and I don't know if I've reached it yet. I can tell you that as far as I've put it in I have not needed to compress the spring at all and when I do so with a 3/4 pipe I cut down the middle to leave room for something to put in there to push on the c-clip, it goes further down but doesn't catch any groove or anything. so I guess when the clip is in, the spring assembly is either supposed to be completely compressed or loose/free. anyone know? thanks.
