Ok I'm about to change the oil for the first time (on this car) on my 95 GSX. Where's the best place to jack it up with a hydraulic jack to get under there?

Usually i put the jack under the notch behind the drivers front wheel, you will see a place right behind the wheel where there is a notch in the framework right next to your sideskirt...looks like this ____----____. Place jack in the elevated section... hope this helps...and as always..use jackstands.

LOL, but will this work with any jack? Because I don't have the stock jack, I would be using a hydraulic floor jack.

yeah, just make sure you put the jack in far enough so it doesnt catch the sideskirt.. place it so it only touches the bottom of the frame...i use a hydraulic jack just like that on my eclipse and talon. aim me on idiosyncraticguy or D5motors if you have any questions..or post and i will reply shortly.

dont use the floor jack on the side jack point (made for stocker jack). There is a cross member like 6" from the front of car use that. For the rear i use the rear diff
