really sad ECU problem

Ok well my car has been acting very strange latly and so finally i decided to check my ECU. well i see some burns on it and guessing thats the problem. but the sad thing is i just found out i have EPROM to. the guy who i bought it off of failed to mention that but now im sad i have eprom and i doubt imma be able to get my ECU fixed. anyone know of good place to get ECUs fixed? i went to Kar King and they are out of the question. and im waiting for a call back from RRE but any other ides wud be greatly appreciated. i really wanna save my eprom

yeah one of my buddies is looking into that 1 for me cus i been so swamped an overwhelmed. is that guy reasonable? and whats like the standard repair cost for ecm?
