ready for wet nitrous on 1g well built ...20g

I'm ready to install a 50-75 shot wet on my car. I recently ran 11.5@119 on 29 psi on 20g...110 octane,weight reduction. I wanna be able to make same amount of power with less boost and get into low 11's.DSMmotorsports was running 11.4's @118 with 14b and i think 80 shot. With my supporting mods...i should be able to get into low 11's. Here's my mods as of this month:

I'm cosidering running maybe like 20-23 psi with 50-75 shot for the best bang for buck. I'm not fond of high boost until i get my head oringed.I need some of serious opinions of nitrous users or anyone experienced with nitrous???
 
The amount of work doing N20 right entails makes me hold off on anything but 100hp and over and running direct port...

I'd do at minimum a 2 or 3 stage and the best is the progressive controller...

You will have more safeguards and control.. It will start out as low as you want say a 25 to 50 to spool at the line and ramp up at your rate to your max.. At High RPM you can get away with more and when you shift and the revs go down for the next gear you dont smack gear at the bottom rpm range entering it with your full system HP amount.. Progressive allows you to run alot bigger hits of N20 while being as hard on things as smaller shots.

I'll ask my buddy what book he had but it was some kool stuff on N20..

Get some BPR8ES plugs... Harder to blow out the spark... Alky, highboost and N20 can do it. I just noticed You have the same design and a different heat range.. You know what they look like.
 
you have a solid shortblock, so if I were you, stick a single fogger wet kit on and put in the 50 shot jets. Once you know it runs clean on the 50 shot, stick in the 75 and go faster.

I don't belive in progressive controllers and much of the ntirous frills and fluff. there is no reason your driveline can't take a full 100hp more than you are making now without having any issues. That would put you into the 10's provided you can hook it up.

2 or 3 stages? seriously why go through that complication?
 
oh yeah, don't worry about oringing the block or anything crazy. If your machinework was good on the head surface, with the 4layer and arp's..you should be good for all the power you can make with a 20g and a single fogger. turn the boost down 2 or 3 psi to start with and add the 50 shot. then up it to 75hp, then put the boost back to 30.

keep adding power in small increments to make sure you don't run out of fuel supply or have tuning issues.

you can also use the BR8ES plugs (no P). non projected tip works a little better with nitrous.
 
ok..thats exactly what i wanna hear.I'm gonna trade my sell my web cams for some hks 264's and buy a nitrous wet kit of some sort and try it out.I'm gonna start with boost under 25 psi and work my way up.thanks

Raheem no need to get mad because you poured all this money into your car, well I heard you pieced used parts together, traded my buddy some crap for his used 3" exhaust. What are you a used parts junky? You say you ran a 11.5@119 on 29 psi on 20g. Last time I heard your car ran a 13.0 with some other kat driving. What kind of weight reduction did you do? Bring on the BS. You were not there at E-Town when you said you were. I was with the people you so called said you went up there with. :laugh:

First of all wtf are u talking about? Why the hell would i go all the way etown to run my car when i live 10 min from atco raceway?
secnd, the guy who probably told u this bullshit asked me a question about some tranny shit that refferred to brian and alex so i guess he got the shit mixed up. And yeah back in spring last year it did run a 13.0 with 18's and full stereo and 16g turbo @20psi when i let my buddy take a pass in it. I live by the barter system!!!!I'm on a budget I LOVE GOOD USED PARTS and some of that crap i supposedly traded your boy was some trannies that he rebuilds and sells to fellow dsmer's for like $800 not trying to put your business on blast. Actually he got close to ten awd trannies from me . I do have the slip of 11.5 @119 as soon as i can afford a scanner i'll be glad to show ya. You would be suprised of what my POS DSM can do for little $$$$ not talking shit I'm just trying to get shit straight and the guy who probably told you was some guy around here who supposedly ran 12.3@112 on 16g pump gas and full weight and 19 psi with 1.8 60ft.I'm actually looking for a USED VPC w/660 chip, USED SUSPENSION UPGRADES, USED HKS 264's, USED WB 02, and other misc. parts NO SENSE in buying parts new if they do there job USED .People like me appreciate the DSMtrader. I'm actually looking to go in low 11's when i get another vehicle , nitrous, 15" lightweight rims and drag radials. OH yeah.....the guy who probably told you this nonsense about me running at etown had a tranny rebuilt by u guys that I sold to him along with other USED parts.Also i have some USED webcams 546/547 cams in awesome condition for sale or trade. 1FASTdsm any other questions I'd rather you PM me rather than discuss this BS on a post!!!!

It works....

After seeing a freinds car with a NX direct port before and after the NX progressive controller... I'm kinda hung up on them.... It's more $ and work but with it a 200hp shot beats on things as little or even less than a 100hp..... I'd read up on N20 and see how RPM effects how much a given engine can handle...

I'm gonna go with some hks 264/272 cams...I already have dibs on 264's now and a venom intake manifold I can get cheap..but it's brand new.I'm so anxious!!! What's the cheapest kit around.? and Where can I get a rpm window switch?
 
IMO go with straight 272's, itll be the better choice no doubt. (besides you can buy mine im selling! =P)

And skip the venom manifold. The welds will blow in a day. They say theyre rated to handle no more than 25psi. Venom says this. Now if that isnt poor...
