Getting ready to spray 50 shot wet w/tdo6 20g!!!!

Picking up NOS wet kit this week. I want the nitrous gurus to give me some helpful tips to me.I usually run 20 psi pump gas .What kinda boost should i be running while spraying with race gas?

your the only 1 who is going to be able to figure that out, when u start to tune the car... But start low and work your way up, the boost will probly creep 2-3psi when you spray remember too.
 
Your setup is very similar to mine for next year, Im finishing up my motor now. Basically what I was going to do is start with 20psi on racegas and spray a 35hp then a 50hp shot on top of that and see what happened. I have a wideband in my car so I'll also be able to log air fuel. You might want to invest into one that records like the LM1 from www.innovatemotorsports.com so you can record whats happening and review it inbetween runs.

Your 20psi should creep 3-4psi and the nitrous give you about 100whp gain so you should definately feel it come on. Once you have established how much extra boost your gonna get and when to turn it on (start in 2nd gear as it would be too voilent on the drivetrain in 1st likely) you can start to turn your boost up to get the desired level.

Turbo only cars has an air fuel ratio thats about optimum at 11.8-12.2 kinda range. On a turbo nitrous car it shoudl be 11.0-11.4 type of deal. You may have to compensate on your AFC or whatever tuning device you have for the extra fuel you may or may not need. Either way you won't know what your AFR is if you don't have a wide band. On a turbo nitrous car it's so very important to be able to watch your AFR and know whats happening.
 
i gained almost 75whp with a 50 shot wet on my wrx. It will raise the boost like 2lbs but it settles back down(or at least mine did). Listen to him and dont spray in first i learned that the hard way. But you will feel the 50 shot more so on a turboed car then on an NA car due the fact that it is raising you boost, cools the intake temps and your cylinders are getting some healthy NO2.

Ohh and my car actually ran a little on the richer side when i sprayed, but you should still have a wideband hooked up to tune it correctly.
