rattling noise

i have a 90 talon,just been built,i have a rattling noise almost sounds like the lifters not bleed all the way up yet,would a balance shaft eliminator have any thing to do with this,any feedback would be helpful

Not that i have heard.

Might do a search on engine rebuild. Alot of people here rebuild there own engine and post here after they start it. Many do experience different noises similar to what you describe.

Is it kind of a clacking sound? Can you get a soundbite?

What installation method did you use when installing the lifters? And the engine (assembly lube or what)??

i dropped the lifters in oil overnight,i dont have the new style lifters that everyone else is using,and i used red assembly oil that you build motors with
