Rattle when i let off gas

Well the title pretty much says it. When i let off the gas im getting a weird rattle, almost kinda like a grinding noise. Its most noticeable in the lower gears. It only happens when i let off the gas. As soon as i get back on the gas or depress the clutch it goes away.

What about with the clutch out, and the car in neutral?

its fine like that...so its not the throwout bearing

Check your exhaust system, possibly a heat shield towards the rear of the car?

I was thinking of a heatshield by the engine. Take a look in your bay and make sure everything is tight. Don't forget to check the exhaust connections too.
