rare color combo

maroon with red interior is it rare or are there a lot more with this combo than i think

I've seen a maroon/red combo on craigslist I wanted to buy just for the interior but ended up being beyond cleaning. The cup holder, I have a couple sitting in my basement and have thrown a few out.

A local guy has a maroon on red '92 TSi AWD auto. Red interior is pretty rare and I have only seen two maroon on red cars. Out of the 100 + cars I have gone through I only had one car with red interior and it was a white car.

Sounds like you need the tray that goes in the armrest compartment for a second cup holder. On the 2gs

I have a parts car that is a '92 AWD maroon/porno red combo. Ive seen a few of them over the years, not very common IMO. I have also had a '92 AWD with the white/porno red combo. I have seen a lot more of this combo over the years.

I have the cup holder as well, i use it so much, when i had my CRX i bought some folding cup holders that you fasten in place, they worked well too.

I picked up a gray shell for 750 back in august. Just got it running. Nice fairly rare color. Didn't see too many at the last shootout. I will add one for the 2011 shootout.

Also, both my Teal and Gray talons have the cup-holders. Found them at the local PAP. 2 bucks each.

When I was young the first two AWD DSM's I test drove were maroon with maroon interior 1g's. I remember my dad getting in them and going, this interior is awful you really want this? haha.

Clean looking car. Got any more pics of it? I just picked up a 92 Laser, same as yours. White, porno red interior. Pretty clean. Gonna have to wait until spring to get it all cleaned up tho. Also needs some mechanical work done before I can drive it.
