Rare color

I know you guys say there are no rare dsms but i just bought a 90 eclipse gst, with factory lips kit and it is a maroon but not the normall dull ugly maroon, well all maroon is ugly but its almost like a metallic color, i bought this car from a guy who has had it since new and says its never been painted....Wondering if anyone knows the name of the color and maybe if it is really rare im not sure, i have just never seen one like it

maybe you should post a pic so that we can see it. but i bet it's probably the same factory maroon, just not faded yet.

I've seen it before. It's sort of glittery right? I've only seen one in person and one in a photo so it is probably relatively rare for what its worth.
