Radio Stays on???

ok, so i installed an after market eclipse deck, and when i turn my car off the radio stays on for like 4-5 mins, any ideas on why??

You confused constant power and switched...

no i didnt get them confused, if i did that it would never turn off, it shuts off after like 4 mins

Turbo timer? haha jk you should read the instrutction booklet..... it may tell you why it stays on.

actually mine did the same thing but it was only for about 30 seconds. It was weird. But it didnt do it when I was listening to the radio and not a CD

Sounds like it may be a feature built into your head unit. Check out the manual like stated above.
