2G radio harness infinity?

I was wondering if it was possible to have a stock amp in a car without the infinity system. I bought the car without a stereo and I've been trying to find the radio harness for it, so I went to my local stereo shop and told them i had the infinity system because there is a stock amp under the passenger seat. well when he showed me the harness it had what looked like a coaxial cable and four wires coming out of the main harness. Well my harness doesn't have a coaxial cable and it looks like the non-infinity system harness.
My question is can I have a non-infinity system with a stock amp? The reason I say stock amp is because everything is wired into the cars main harness.

I was wondering about this as well. I have the infinit system but the speakers have shot cones and The radio is pretty worn out. It works but, the 6 disk is gone and the buttons on the radio are sometimes aggravating.

i have searched but no search has really covered this topic. so does anyone know which adapter I need? It looks like the non-infinity one but I just want to make sure.
