2G Radio Codes

Does anyone have a list of radio codes that Mitsubishi used on the 2Gb Eclipse? Or are they vin# specific?

I had to call Mitsubishi north America and give them the vin and let them know i was the new owner and they gave me the code.

Just though I'd update this for the next guy...

I just went through this and the code can actually be retrieved from the Mitsubishi website now https://www.mitsubishicars.com under the 'owners' section. Then look under the resources tab for "Radio Code Retrieval".

I take it this doesnt cover Talon's...

My VIN isnt in the database.

*Got a random vin off a 96. 2765 is the code it gave me.*

Just call the dealership with the part number of the radio, worked for me and tons others

I sent Mitsubishi a radio code request for my 'new' 98 Spyder over a week ago, using the website form. Absolutely no reply. I guess I'll have to call and speak with a person. BTW, my so-called 'local dealership' (a good 30+ miles away, on the other side of Cincinnati) was of no help, all they wanted to know was if I was in the market for a vehicle, ignored my radio code inquiry.
