So while the car is down for the winter I want to fix some damage to the car from an accident by the previous owner. The front radiator surrounding frame is torn to shreds. The radiator leans like crazy at the bottom. I thought about replacing the frame around it but see its all one piece. So the question is... how can I build a frame that replaces the stock twisted frame that still bolts up to the subframe that holds the front motor mount? I want it to hold the radiator straight and obviously need to bolt the stock motor mount sub frame into it. Also I'm currently looking for another subframe for it (one that holds the front motor mount) Does anyone have one or know where I can get one? I wanna replace this also because it is a little bent also. Oh this might help '92 TSI FWD, have plenty of cutting tools and welding buddies.
Here is a pic of the radiator spot i was talking about:

Was thinking about just welding steel in its place with holes cut out for stock parts.
