Quick question. Which fan is for the cooling and which is the ac? My drivers side fan kicks on after the engine is hot. The passenger side doesnt. When I turn the ac both fans turn on. So is the drivers side the cooling fan? Car is 2g 420a nt manual transmission. Thanks.

Thanks! I was reading on which is which and everyone was saying driver side is for ac and the passenger was for coolant but I guess they were for the 4g63. Thanks again!!

Just as a added note, these fans are ground controlled, meaning the turn on by the relay being connected to ground (obviously this happens automatically) If you want an added cooling effect, you can attach the ground of both relays (located in the underhood fuse box). That way when your cooling fan kicks on, both fans will come on. I learned this trick from another DSMer & it may or may not trip you CEL.
