Ok so the receiver for the seatbelts on our cars our built into the seat, so if i wanna keep factory seatbelts no fancy 4, or 5 point harnesses, just plain old seatbelt how could i rig it up to bolt it to the floor or somthing? if its not possible how can i mount the harnesses without having to put a big bar behind my seat to mount them on?? Please help my seats are badly cig burnt

it wouldn't matter where you plug your seat belt that is factory in. With a 4-5 point harness it's a whole new setup, and you don't use your factory seat belt clip. You say your seats are burnt so get some sparco seats or something that will be easier to put your 4-5 point harness through. Also many use a roll cage to bolt the back of the seat belts with, but you can also bolt it up under neath the seats(inbetween the back and bottom of seat). Also the reason you don't need the stock seat belt because like I said it's a whole new set up. the two 'shoulders' come down straight into a lap belt that has a few places to 'plug in' all of your straps. Look at www.sparcousa.com I believe is there website to check out there belts and seats. Later.

Wow not even close to what he was asking. He was wondering how to switch seats but keep the stock seatbelts.

Here's what i've done. Might sound wierd or confusing at first, but here goes;
first remove the rear seatbelts completely. shoulder belt and reciever. On certain years, the rear-seat reciever is attached to the mounting point using a short legnth of cloth, rather than a solid metal bar. Im not sure which years, but mine came with the cloth section, take this piece for each side and bolt it to the frame (or rear mounting point) of the racing seat. Then use the stock side belt. by doing this, you avoid having to mount the spring loaded OEM front seat belt clasp, but the rear seatbelt clasp and front seatbelt clip together no problem. i can't explain it any other way LOL. follow me on this. it works. ;)

Thanks for the replies guys Spyyder i beleive i understand what ur trying to say unbolt hte receiver from the backseats bolt it to my front seats use the front seat males and the back seat females together, correct me if im wrong but u helped out alot i beleive

exactly. It's 100% easier to use the rear seat females because you don't have to mess with the stock front females and their spring-loaded high tech bullshit. Just make sure the rear seat females that you use are the seperate ones with fabric mounts, rather than the metal mounted one piece design. not sure which years came with which, but who needs rear seatbelts anyways? you've gotta be nuts to ride back there... and in saftey, no way.. LOL

ehh sorry for misunderstanding your post. I must of read it wrong at first until someone clarified that you were looking at stock seats, I dont know how I got what I got out of it but oh well. Sorry for that.
