racing harness on stock seat?

Does anyone think it would be possible to put racing harnesses on the stock seats? I can't afford a racing seat yet but I do plan on it. For now I was thinking about getting the racing harness and modifying the stock seat to fit it. I was thinking about cutting out the black circles (done in paint by the way) and putting maybe a plastic piece in so it wouldn't tear up the material. tell me what you think.
