me and a few friends went out last night, my first run i did a 15.023@92ish and a 2.0 60ft time, that was unfortunatly my best time, i need a new exh. manifold, and my o2 dump was dumping on my i/c pipe, when i would shift into 3rd the car would really start to be effected by the extra heat of the o2 dump on the i/c. I was happy cuz i took a 11sec rx7 till 1/8 mile, then he pulled quite a bit ahead of me, i talked to him later that night and he ran a very crappy run, but i was complemented on my launch by alot of people, the rest of the night was ruined by bogged down launches, or the car just lagging and pulling timing. :(

in the end it was fun as hell, even if i didnt pull off good times, i like it alot better than racing on the street now, ima fix my manifold and re-route that dump, do a boost leak test, change plugs and i hope ill get a better time, i cant wait till i run again tho.

You're right, It's much more fun racing on the track, Then on the street. It's also in a controlled place. I raced for my first time a few weeks ago (Still on stock turbo/injectors etc.) but it was so much fun! Can't wait to get injectors and go back and finally break into the 12's, Only a 10th of a second away, But I never raced before on a track.

What were you launching at? It says you have a 16g and everything, I thought you'd be alot faster? You're 60ft times could definatly use improving! good luck with everything and have fun! :sneaky:

Cool, I am glad you enjoyed. I am hopping to this soon.

I have not raced yet, but have been asked to go next Friday by a coworker that has a 34 ford Coupe running a 396 Chevy BB with a 3x2 carb setup. He gave me a ride in it and Yes its fast but his rear end is very light (lots of spin) and his 60 was like 2.4 last time he was at thetrack.

I am still on a stock SMIC and its in the mid 90 here this time of year so I am not sure if I can even get one run before completely being heat soaked.

i launched it up around 5500ish, i was running 15 psi at the track, i had just finished puttting a fmic on it a couple days befroe, so i could of had some boost leaks, i was getting really bad knock before i put the i/c on, and the i/c seemed to fix just about all the knock, unless Ive been sitting still for a bit, it would get about 18 counts of knock threw first gear, but once i would start going the knock would go away and it felt great. but the night before i went to the track my logger cable to stuck underneath my clutch, and it pulled the wires out of the connectors, so i was unable to log at the track.

but it definatly felt like i was going nowhere, and like it didn't want to rev up, it felt as if it was pulling timing like crazy. i also have a cracked manifold/bad gaskets, so ima try to get that fixed soon, and re-route my external dump to dump further under the car.

hopefully next time i go back i will break into the low 14's maybe high 13's :laser:
