Quick Question Alternator

Can anyone tell me what the size of the Alternator Pulley Nut on a 1996 manual GST. Mine managed to work its way off somewhere along the road.

I'm guessing somewhere between 14 and 18mm

If you need a quick answer i would take the bolt to local hardware store, easy fix.

I don't have the alternator off the car and was hoping just to pop on a new nut while its on the car. I was just asking to see if someone knew off hand or could pop a socket on there and check for me.
