Is it normal for the vehicle to go rich for a split second after letting off the throttle when venting your BOV with SD? I know thats to be expected when you VTA with a stock MAF, but why does it still happen to a lesser degree with a SD setup? The car doesnt bog down or anything when this happens.

Yes, the lower portions of your fuel map still are set to use fuel. It's not until the ecu code kicks in a split second after you release the throttle that it cuts fuel and goes completely lean. Your car is doing what is normal.
