i used the search, but I can't quite find what I need...half the posts I read say gap @ .44, and half say like .28. Which gap do I use for my N/T? (97 GS) I pulled out the plugs in there now, and they are NGK BKR6ES gapped @ .44 Is this correct?

I'm trying to correct a poor gas mileage issue I'm having, so this is my next guess...next is the 02 sensor. Thanks! :rocks:

The manual says to use Champion RC9YC5's gapped @ .048-.053.....i'm guessing i should not be gapping anything @ .28, but I'd still like to know for sure.

Thanks! I saw that one too...Maybe I'll gap a set a little smaller and see what happens. Wouldn't want to hurt anything, though.

Thanks again, at least now I won't gap anything in the 20's. :)

I would not gap the plugs closer on a N/T car. A larger gap actually helps with cold start and part throttle driving at the expense of wearing out the wires quicker, but minimally if you keep it down to about .050.
