alright im not a newb but i really need to know something.
first off my engine blew due to my timing belt snapping. and im getting that rebuilt. its a 7 bolt. its a 93 talon tsi AWD, and im wondering how often the 1g 7bolts crankwalk. and with this rebuild if i should still worry about crank-walk. i wouldve gotten a 6 bolt. but my dads freinds business said theyd fix it for free....please help me..

I wouldnt worry about it. The chance of it crankwalking are not that great. Especially if your running completely stock. And hell its free!! If it does happen worry about it then. And at that time determine if you want to sink the money into doing a 6 bolt swap.

yeah i know but if this shit wasnt free i woulda had the cyclone motor because i was going to order one. but since its free my dad didnt want to help my pay for a 6bolt motor. and im just afraid its going to crankwalk...i dont plan on keeping it stock. i just got my turbo-back and im ordering an 20g with a FMIC i got alot of plans...i want to get some fuel injectors, probably put a stroker kit on my car. ... etc

Crankwalk is overrated. It's a *small* problem in 2g's, and has seemed to be even a smaller problem in the 1g 7-bolts. With the free fix always there, I wouldn't be worrying ;)
