Quick Help With 2g Mani Plz

alright just recieved my ported 2g manifold, just wondering about the gasket from the engine to the mani and the mani to the turbo, are they the same because ig uess i'm gonna use the old ones i didnt get new ones.

Also i'm wondering how hard u torque down the mani bolts to the head and turbo

ok edit: nevermind on the rush i just tried taking off the stock 1g manifold and the bolts connecting it to the turbo are so hard i broke my basic socket wrench. I need some air tools and stuff.

But ya about the torque on how tight to put them and the gaskets. If i could get some help on those two questions that would be great.

would it REALLY matter if i bought new gaskets for the turbo and manifold? i'm not sure i want to wait for shipping again if the answer is yes, so is there any basic store that has gaskets for my setup? kragen? autozone? i doubt either of them, thats why im not very keen on getting new gaskets i'll have to wait for them in the mail and theyre not extremely cheap.

any suggestions appreciated

Don't crank down the manifold-to-head nuts very hard or they'll break the studs off into the head. You can man up on the turbo bolts to some extent, though, since they're larger. Amazingly, the actual service manual spec is 20 ft. lbs., which seems low to me. You can probably reuse the gaskets if they look good, but you can get replacements at the stealership.
