Quick Datalogging Question

What handheld device are most of you running. I am running a Palm III and I am have problems with getting it to stay in the cradle while I am logging. Is there a handheld out there that will work with MMCD and lock into the cradle? I am having to use a ruberband right now to even get it to work at all. Any help will be appreciated.

I use a palm III with a cable not a gradle. I hook it up like this. http://www.dsmtuners.com/forums/showthread.php?t=168724

Works good and it take about 5-10 minutes to do.

I don't believe that we are using the same Palm Pilot. I think that you have the Palm IIIc. I can't find a cable like that for mine, that would solve all of my problems if I could just find a cable like that. Mounting it is no problem, I do like how you mounted yours though.

Did your's come with that cable or did you have to buy it?

No i had to buy it. I got it off ebay for like 10 bux.

i just bought my logger also off ebay. the cheap none color one for 70 bucks. i was thinking about taking apart the craddle to try to use just the cable instead to see if that works.

I just bought a cable off of ebay for 6 bucks shipped. Just waiting on it to get here, then I need to mount everything.
