Hello, today I was doing the calipers/rotors and pads on my 91 Talon AWD. I got everything off except the 2 front calipers and they have a really big bolt holding the rotors on. Does anyone know what size it is? I need to go and buy the socket tomorrow.

Thanks for the help. :thumb:

Thats the axle nut you dont need to take that off to get he rotors off. take the 2 bolts that hold the caliper on off and remove the caliper then thake the 2 bolts that hold the caliper mount on then take the rotor off

If you are talking about the bracket that the calipers are mounted to, the bolts that mount them to the steering knuckle should be 17mm. You'll probably want to get it in a 1/2" drive because they are usually rusted and need some good torque to break loose.

Oh whoops, you guys are 100% correct. I didn't even realize it when I was doing the breakes. That bolt doesnt interfere with the rotor at all, it just holds the axle in. Thanks guys.
