My brake light doesnt go off when I put e brake down. it goes away on its own after driving for a few miles or so.

im guessing maybe brake fluid might be down.

where is the brake fluid resevoir? a picture would be helpful.

thanks :rocks:

Brake light switch is under the center console somewhere near the E-brake. The brake reservoir is under the hood near the drivers side against the firewall, it will be the bigger of the two reservoirs there if you have a manual transmission car.

The brake light will also come one if the brake fluid for your hydraulic brakes is low as well. Both switches (e brake and fluid level) go to the same "idiot light".

Go fill your reservoir but if the fluid was low enough that air may have entered then you need to bleed out your brake lines as well.

Can anyone tell me where to put the gas?

Under the hood, There will be a cap that says oil. Ignore that and put gas in there. ROFL.

But yeah, the resivoir is in the engine bay right in front of where the driver sits. Careful not to spill brake fluid on the paint. It will eat the paint away.

The small one is clutch and should just pull off. The big is brake and should twist off.
