questions on 2g black interior

ok, i know there are a couple of threads about black interior, but none give specific's.
i know that the 99 gst and gsx came with black interior, but i want to know if ALL of the interior is black. like the headliner, carpet, and ALL the peices in the trunk area? or is it a combination of grey/black?. did any dsm come with ALL black, or did any?
the reason i ask is because i found a junk yard that says over the phone that he has a dsm that has black leather interior, but didnt state if all was black or was it a mixture of grey or tan and black. he wants 400.00 for everything out of the interior. he says that the seats are like perfect . but i dont want to swap from my grey to just some black. if the car has most black with some grey, what peices would have to be painted to give my car every peice black?, also did any dsms' come with the lower peices on the lower dash and center console side peices( i guess they are called kick panels) black?

To answer your question, no not every piece is black. carpet and headliners are gray. some trunk pieces are also gray along with some pieces upfront i.e lower panels. No dsm came with "all" black interior.

so everyone just paints them? and do the little rubber moulding that goes around the door frame, do they come black?

Everything in the interior is black except for the sides of the center console, the glove compartment, and the little piece next to it...The carpet and floor mats are also grey stock....The headliner is a tannish color factory and it still is factory color in my car

$400.00 for Black leather interior which includes "everything out of the interior" is a good deal. I would assume everything meant the entire dash (not just cluster) console radio amp, Steering wheel, all plastic trim, speakers, Door panels. Everything down to the metal structure! I have seen black door panels bring 200-250 alone. To find everything at one time for 400.00 I say buy it. Otherwise you will be piecing it together for a long time. Sell what you don't want later.

how did you paint and prep the other pieces that were not black

Dupli color vinal/fabric paint...I scrubbed each piece well, the took an sos pad(the green one's) and lightly scuffed the surface nothing noticable really just fixed any imperfections...Then I just sprayed the paint in nice thin layers til I got it to where I wanted it...
