Suuup Fellas. I bought a 98 gst with a 6bolt swap.the condition of the car was when i bought,it had a blown engine. (6bolt) So i swapped my engine from my old 1g.I used 1g head along with 1g intake manifold. Then i used my 1g ignition coils,2g power transistor. When i bolted up everything, start the car and made a test run,i wasn't happy with the results. The car accelerates sooooo slowly that even grandma with the buick could smoke me. And the cause of the slow acceleration i think is:

power transistor
1g coilpack
2g throttlebody on a 1g head.

corect me if im wrong....

Something else...

Your car wouldn't be runnning very well if the PT/Coil Pack were bad..

The 2g TB might be holding some of the power back but not enough IMO...

Have you checked for the obvious like boost leaks/exhaust leaks??

How does the car run at idle? cruise?.... any CELS..

i fixed all the boost leaks that i had.and im 100% sure, that i don't have any leaks no more.... the idle is really steady at 900 rpms. im running 15psi on 50trim turbo externaly gated.i got stock 450cc injectors, stock fuel pump.

my cel is on cause of the emissions.like blocked egr,no fuel pressure solenoid and some more little stuff ,that i cant even remember...before i had a cel for both 02 sensors,so one of them i had to mod, because i don't have a cat converter. So i bought spark plug foulers and made the rear o2 a bit further exhaust. Then i bought a OEM front 02.So right now i don't have a cel showing that i have bad both o2 sensors.

Is your timing all good? Sound like timing is off with the slow acceleration/revs.

the timing is all good, tripple checked when i did timing and i checked again still on the marks.... well on a weekend im gonna swap all the goodies from my 1g 650cc injectors,255 fuel pump, new fuel filter, afpr,AFX wideband and afc neo.and i will see if the slow acceleration will disapear

ok i came up to another problem, i checked the cel codes that i have now and it shows that i have a code for MDP sensor (manifold differential pressure sensor). As i stated before,im using a 1g head with a 1g intake manifold. So is there any ways ,that i can get rid of that engine code? the way i was thinking to fix that problem,is to run a vac line into the MDP sensor's nipple,so it could read the intake pressure m i right???

daaamn i tried everything, nuttin helped me.still got the slow acceleration problem.....:ohdamn:

im gonna give more details on what is done to my 6bolt swap:

6bolt longblock
1g green CAS (before the guy, that i ought the car from had a 2g head with a black top CAS and he had made some rewiring on it.
1g coilpack
2g power transistor

two things are going on round my had for now:
1 Should i replace the green cas to black top cas?
2 what is firing order on a 2g (98gst) using 1g coilpack? should i need to swap 2g coilpack instead of the 1g coilpack?

neaaah its just laying around between fuel rail and intake manifold,as the power transistor too. because im using a 1g head with 1g intake manifold and i got no place to mount the power transistor and MDP

do you have any ideas on how to plug the mdp sensor into the 1g intake manifold???

isn't MDP for emissions??? i mean mdp has to do something with egr rght? i took out whole the vac lines out of my engine bay. and what about the firing order?

My bad. You do not need it. The firing order could be incorrect, but then your car wouldnt run right at all. How is the idle?

James :dsm::talon::laser:

idle is steady, but sometimes when i come up to a light or a stop sign car just wants to die,i think its because of he ACT Flywheel. And i got problems with a cold start too. When i start the car in the morning,i start really hard,i need to keep a WOT ,so the car could start....
