6bolt swap and other questions??

My freind has a 91 n/t and is going to get a low milage motor that comes with an awd tranny and turbo setup to the down pipe. my question is will he lose power because he is not awd or will it matter? Another question is will he have to invest in awd mid pipes just in case he does the swap to the awd or will the exhuast piping be a gst style? thanx guys

I believe Mavisky (moderator) did a writeup on a 1g 4G63 to 4G63T swap. Anyway, he won't lose any power just because of the drive train. If anything, all of the power will be going to the front wheels since he's FWD. That won't make a difference.

Exhaust piping will be for a 1G FWD turbo.
