Langley,
I wanted to get a new set of cams for my NT. thinking of 262's but I have seen suggestions on swapping in Stock Turbo Cams. which ones have more lift and duration, the 262's right? Also, how much would I gain from doing both intake and exhaust for each?
Finally, is it possible to only replace the components(valves, retainers, etc.) for one side only or is that not a good idea? I will most likely do both at the same time.

In 1994 Eagle sold 250 TALON ES's in america that used the turbo intake cam (every 4g63 engine has the same exhaust cam) and used 300cc injectors and got 167hp out of the engine from factory... SO, yeah... you should get a noticeable gain, plus any other mods you do will be even more... "feelable" (is that a word)

should I do some Stock Turbo Injectors at the same time to prevent lean?

they also had a bit higher compression too so dont give him the wrong impression that cams will give him 32 crank hp.

they did have slightly higher compression, your correct, and yes you should probably grab some manual turbo's injectors because thats what I am doing when I do this mod within the next 3 weeks... I am doing it though as preventiveness because I am gonna get dyno tuned and a friend of mine put in new cams in his mustang and when he got dyno tuned the dude that did his tuning told him he is tuned up but he has to put in so-so CC injectors in order to really feel the new tuning because his injectors were at max pulse width at only about 3/4 his max RPM, i dunno, but i'd do it anyway.

It doesn't matter that much at all really, depends on the condition of your injectors.

I bought a b&m afpr for 60 bucks and it gives enough gas to keep my plugs a nice grey/light tan color.

PS mine always ran a little lean, but most dsm's run rich so you should be okay without them. Mine was fine when I didn't have any extra fuel, and I couldn't tell that I made any more power with extra fp.
