I went out and bought some BPR6ES plugs for the car cuz I don't know when the last time was that they were changed. When I took the old ones out, they were NGK BPR6KN. Other than the two little 'bar' things on the KN ones, what's the difference, and why would these ones be on the car, I thought the ES ones were the right ones? Also, on the tips of the old ones, they were white. Here's some pics.

Why are the tips white? What does that mean? I thought that they were supposed to be like a tannish color.

Ignore it. With fuel injected engines, all you can look for reliably is oily, burned, or mechanical damage.

Your old plugs look fine.

The K plugs are what is recommended in your Owner's Manual.

The single-electrode plugs work ideally, and are used by virtually everyone.
