Question about the sidemarkers on 97+ Eclipse

I was wondering, do the sidemarkers light up with the "normal" light or do they function as turning signals ? Or both ?

Does any have a picture with the smoked ones installed ?

I'm not sure if you are talking about the bumper lights, or sidemarker lights that may be on the fender. I see that you live in Europe, so I don't know if you have sidemarker lights over there, but we dont have them here. If you do though, then yes, they will flicker on and off with the turn signal. We just have bumper lights that turn on with the headlights, and stay constant. They do not flicker on and off with the turn signal, just the outermost bulb on the headlights do. As for the pic of the smoked sidemarker, if you look on ebay you will probably see some pics with them installed on an eclipse.

Thanks, that's what I wanted to know, I was talking about the bumper lights then
And you're right about the turning signals on the fenders, we have these, but the ones in bumper are turning signals only, too. Additionally we have the turning signals in the headlights....
Whole car lights up when giving turn signal...

We don't much use signals on this continent until we turn 70, then the left signal is kept on all the time.
Use of turn signals is considered a sign of weakness, plus it tends to clue other drivers what you plan on doing. This almost completely removes your advantage of having the element of surprise on your side.
